Corrugated siphon. In appearance it resembles the previous type, but it is made of corrugated plastic flexible pipe with a connecting node. A significant advantage of a corrugated product is that it can be connected to any sink. - we mount a rubber gasket on a cast-iron pipe. We bring the plastic sewer pipe to a level of no more than 40 centimeters from the floor and install on it a pre-purchased special adapter;
- we connect the main part of the siphon and the pipe under the sink;
- with your free hand we insert a mesh with a screw and a gasket into the drain hole, bait the screw and press it fully;
- insert the corrugated pipe into the drain bell and tighten with the wing nut;
- install its bell in the sewer pipe;
- some instructions recommend connecting additional equipment at this stage. However, it is advisable to first check the siphon by connecting it to the sewer. At this time, we close the bends with plugs. They are usually included as well;
- After checking and making sure that the siphon is working, we connect additional household appliances. We fix the drainage hoses of the dishwasher with clamps.
At the same time, it is very important to make sure that the drain hose extending from the siphon does not bend or twist anywhere. Even the smallest obstacles should be absent on the way of water flow.
